We Lost Marbles met in Wiesbaden, Germany in the early 70's while working as civilian employees of the Air Force at Lindsey Air Station, living on the highly coveted 8th floor of the Amelia Earhart Hotel. We developed a real closeness, probably due to being away from our families, and created our own mini-extended family that somehow has been maintained for over 30 years. We kept touch through Christmas cards, phone calls and few and far between visits while we were each raising our families. We recently had our first reunion where six of us were able to travel to Mt. Gretna, Pa. for a visit. Very little about any of us has changed, except the wrinkles of course. We laughed and caroused as if time had not separated us for so many years.
